Do you own a building that has a green element to it and want to show it off?
Sign up for the Green Building Open House tour of WNY!
WNYSEA is gearing up for the annual Green Building Open House (GBOH) tour which is set for Saturday, October 13th, 2012 and we are looking for sites to be on the tour!
The tour is free, self guided and open to the public from 10am – 4pm. By signing up to be a tour site, you get the opportunity to open your door and educate the public about your green feature. You can sign up here: http://energysage.com/projects/nesea-gboh/host
What is GBOH? It is a tour across the Northeast, promoted by our parent organization, the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) that happens for one day only. Each tour site on the list opens its doors to showoff, educate and let you get a “hands on” experience with the green feature. Many of the sites featured in the past have elements of solar, geothermal, energy efficiency upgrades, green roofs, bale on bale construction and more.
The tour is a ton of fun. Last year there were 45 sites across both Erie and Niagara Counties that were open. WNYSEA is proud to announce it was the largest tour in NYS!
